To ensure it’s sweet enough for your little ones, add a tsp of coconut sugar or a pinch of stevia – for a no-nasties sugar-free choc drink. It tastes delish and is the perfect way to satisfy everyone’s choc cravings.

Multiply the recipe to prep extras for the week.
4 cups coconut milk or milk of choice
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp carob powder (optional)
1 tbsp coconut sugar or a pinch of stevia

Directions

1.
Place all ingredients into a small pot and stir until combined.

Notes

STORING LEFTOVERS: Store covered in the fridge for up to 2 days or freeze in popsicle moulds for up to 4 months. 
Simple swaps: Swap coconut milk for cow’s, oat, almond or soy milk. Swap carob for additional cacao.
To boost: Add 1 tsp of kid-friendly chocolate protein powder.
For fussy eaters: Top with shaved chocolate and coconut cream.
